Hello LGHL Community!! As stated in the voting thread here on the forums, there is an upcoming Gamechanger event in early December. This is considered to be a very conceptual meeting and to be strongly focused on the feedback and features of game design. NHL 16 has been out in the hands of gamers and fans for around two and a half months and since making the leap to the current generation of consoles we can all agree it definitely isn't perfect. The NHL 16 iteration of the Gamechanger's had provided valuable feedback to developers as they were on hand to provide thoughts on anything they needed 24/7. The general feeling was that the game was heading in the right direction as the previous title NHL 15 had strayed far away from what we expected to have in an NHL game. This year, so far it has had its ups, but not without its frustrations. The Gamechangers will be involved at a much earlier stage than in the past and this has the highest potential to have an impact on the direction the community wants the NHL series to go in. In short, the purpose of this is too find out what you guys want to see in the game, how certain features should work and to gather feedback for what is already there. Reaching out to you guys can help centralize the thoughts and feedback that we have as a community so it can be documented and presented to the developers at the first Gamechanger event. A month ago a thread was started to try and gain some feedback on what you guys thought of the gameplay and what you guys thought could change. That information has been gathered and documented, it also has helped reflect what you have seen in the recent tuners and updates. Here is what we would be looking for: Game Mode: What game mode you are talking about, or what game mode you'd like to see in the game. (IE: EASHL, GM, HUT, Be a Pro, General Gameplay) Feature/Gameplay Title: The feature you are talking about. (IE: TPS, Vision Control, Hitting, Shooting) Feature/Gameplay issue: What is the problem with the feature you mentioned? (IE: Doesn't Exist, Doesn't feel right, has bad collision detection) Feature/Gameplay Solution: How would you solve the issue above? (IE: Increase the accuracy slightly on all shots, bump up the hitting slightly on everyone.) There has been plenty of discussion with TPS (True Performance Skating), Vision Control, Hitting, Shooting and much more. This is just a way to get everything together so we can help mold the future of the NHL series together. Wishlists are definitely welcome as well! We all thank your for giving us this opportunity to represent you as a voice that can talk freely and directly to the studio. id like to play an nhl game that isnt totally broken for a change would like to see authentic goal horns 100% authentic would like to see them add customize club jersey's and arena's would like to see club practice (warmup with team mates like shoot arounds be4 games) id mostly like to see gameplay improvements over visual improvements as the graphics are as good as need be for a hockey game. would like to see a club editor for editing your own faces into the game. would like to see less animations that ruin gameplay would like to see less bubbling in the gameplay for a smoother gameplay

How about playing goalie using the kinect? People who play goalie in real life would benefit from this as they could actually get up and play.

Implement an "EA Share" system where users can upload custom rosters, players, draft classes, and teams, with draft classes being able to be downloaded at the start of each offline season in any mode. 2. Bring back Club Customization in regards to jerseys and logos, as well as club captains. 3. Defensive tie-ups, but used sparingly by computer players. 4. GM Connected with Online and Offline Fantasy Draft Implementation. 5. Edit player faces and potentials inside Offline Modes.
fix the g pucks go through u way too much even when holdin the post fix grinders walkin through pokes and keepin the puck most important connection!!!
1. Remove/limit all auto animations involved with skaters. The game needs to take a more competitive stance rather than a simulation stance. 2. Servers, input delay ect... 3. Bring back builds 4. Practice mode and free skate in EASHL 5. Defenseman should not be able to catch the guy on the breakaway when they are 10 feet back of the play, absolutely insane how bad defense man can get bailed out. If you cant keep the play in front of you then you should get punished.
1. Improve the puck pickups system. It should not be so difficult to pick up a puck in open ice. Also, players should be able to hold the puck at the line without having their player do an animation that forces them offside. 2. Skating and endurance is an issue as well. Players shouldn't skate like robots, it's not realistic at all. 3. Goalie interference non-calls are a problem. Only sometimes do the referees wave off goals and call goalie interference. Other times you can run over a goalie and score, no call. 4. If a goalie lags out of a game in club, the game should end. 5. Bring back the club scouting feature. Never should've been removed in the first place. 6. Goalie movements should be more fluid. Currently far too clunky. Goalies should be able to move post to post much quicker. 7. Find a fix for the input delay before NHL 17.
Do something to help goalies for once in this game lol 1. Better/more fluent movement 2. Better positioning on shots. Not turning into the net so its a goal when you make the save.
change goalies movement back to the way it use to be. make passing better fix the lag bullshit give skaters the ability to hold the puck better
The skaters deking the puck behind their bodies needs to be done. Used as an exploit way too much to cause penalties. Enough with that. That animation should only be allowed for through the leg dekes. Not to hold the puck
I play Goalie and it has its ups and Downs. What id like to see: -More games that have 20, 30, 40 shots against with only a few going in -maybe a slow down effect in front of the goalie so I don't get full speed ran into 15 times a game -right stick( goalie shove) should actually do something, like make the player in front unbalanced -goalie 1st person view with red vibration meters when the puck is around/behind the net -No more computers skating behind the net and trying to tuck it in my net. (maybe a buffer zone around the net where the computer can move the puck away from the net but is not able to bring the puck close enough)
Fix captain delay and servers....this should be on everyone s list first and foremost and nothing else. Then hit enter about 5 times and type in your irrelevant issues with the game outside of captain input delay.
ditch the failed TPS skating engine which was nothing more than lengthening the skate blades. skating in 09-12 was just fine. speed skater blades were not the answer to a bad skating engine. fix the fucking lag. remove that stupid fuck deking system from the right stick. awful shit. remove the input lag which has nothing to do with connection, but the input lag they decided to put in the game. give me control of my goddamn right stick again. happy thanksgiving.
Pressure sensative goalie movement. I.e. Left to right movement slow to fast across crease depending how you move the analog sticks and easier hug post when you pull back and to the right or left on sticki straight back be stick on ice.
