Quick questions: How bad is the online lag? (IGN killed this in their review) How long is the franchise (years)? When is a patch coming out? Are they doing the roster updates like they did last year?
Not sure what LAG ign saw, but it's as smooth as last year There is a day one patch, meaning its out now We have "MLB Today", where its like NBA today. Technically there is a daily roster update.
game is amazing. first franchise game with cardinals, tied 2-2 and I hit a homer with rasmus. Won the game 3-2. Really fun game
I only had time to play 1 game....online lag is virtually a non issue. This has me even more pumped than i already was to get playing. The pitching is awesome, and for the first time ever, I'm gonna have to learn to hit better. Pretty much retiring the nhl 10 aside from lg play..lol.
Do you guys like all the stats and splits (Ie when your 2-1 in the count, it shows your batting average, HR ect), Or a batters/pitchers history, or a batters splits in a given ball park, month or even against a given team? I worked on that and i think it was implemented perfectly.
Love it....oh p.s. to tris, I may be hawking my authentic blue jays jersey if interested...fully authentic cost me 250 bucks american...let me know. I refuse to tell you the player though ..lmao
I noticed in the demo it didn't really feel like I was playing in the field. It seemed like the CPU was playing. Can this be changed in the final version? Are there any other camera angles for fielding? I enjoy more of a top-down view for fielding.
Funny you mention that one game....what was the score?...someone put up 9 on you, with you using josh beckett, in mlb 2k10, you must be brutal :
I notice this as well in the full game, im not a huge fan of fielding, and its a mad button mash attemt to control your infield on ground balls at times as well.
That's been one of my pet peeves for years is that the fielders will automatically get these insane jumps on the ball. You don't see any ground balls make it through the infield without going right up the middle.
yup, the fielders are in perfect position, they dont even move for most balls..and the off chance one is fieldable, you cannot switch to the fielder fast enough to make a play on the ball....and amonte, im undefeated against you, and i dont do rematches, so i guess ill take my perfect record to the grave lol
Except the middle infield of my AA team in BAP. I give up like 9 hits a game and half of those are just my infield being too lazy or slow to get to weakly hit grounders lol.
I am seriously thinking about picking it up because I enjoy the pitching so much. I think it would be really nice to do a career as a pitcher.
