    FIFA League Re-Inter

Well if you look at the old interest thread, Tris asked:

I figured I would create a re-interest thread, just to see what the Football Commish is looking at in terms of people.

    Re: FIFA League Re-I

Why would marauders or soadversion care about how many people are interested in a soccer league? :?

That might make scheduling (and lag) difficult with our West Coast members. LG is pretty much North American only (we tried a European back in the Links league, didn't work out too well).

I'm undecided, as I'll need to play the game first and see if I'd want to commit to a season/league with it.

    i'm in!

I think for the first season, we'ed probably see around 20 members if there was a league, Maybe we can do some international teams since no one reall knows much about all the different leagues in europe and NA

More than likely I would want to be a part of this league. As long as the game is fun and enjoyable.

Jon, why would we use the PC Version? THis is an XBOX site, and PAL Livers can't connect with the NTSC Live people, so that throws that out the door.

But XTREME, you are wrong, only the U.S.A calls it soccer, everywhere else it is football!!!

But Tris, we will have like 4 people here wanting the same team.

We will have 3 or 4 that want Brazil because they are one of the best, we will have like 5 that want England, including me and Skater, and I am sure there are some other front runners around here that want them.

With 300+ club teams, I am sure everybody here can find one that they like. :)

Where did I mention anything about a PC version?

BTW, PAL and NTSC users can and do connect on XBL all of the time (ever play anyone from Europe on Links, TOCA2, or MotoGP2?)

Anyway, the point about no Europeans had more to do with the time difference and potential lag, not what video format they use. :?

We tried it just last week with ESPN NHL Hockey (not 2K5). We have also tried it in the past with Midtown Madness and that one nearly worked but the lag was shit.

I can see your point though, the lag is way too much to handle for a good game.

Hate to burst your bubble socal but up here it's called soccer. Too much NFL and CFL to call them both football.

Anywho back on topic I know burntcanunck will be getting the game and will be in for sure so Im gonna head over there and try it out. The FIFA games have always looked great and even though Im not a big soccer(football) buff I've always liked the game, somore then likely I would get in the league.
