Who had a team stolen?

Accountblocked has been playing with the phillies since day 1 i think.

 

I think it is a whole taking a team that was already his. We didn't go through a whole new signup process. Yes, goalie is doing a tremendous amount of work here for this league, but I would call the way it was handled from what I have seen so far, upsetting.

Well we all know this whole "situation" is your fault!!!

 

I didn't know that. I'll offer my Mets to goalie, AB can take back his Phillies, and I'll take the Giants.

 

in all fairness goalie did ask to trade the teams.

BUT, he did so without a response from accountblocked.

even though he pm'd him several times i don't see that the reasoning to go ahead and take someones team.

being away as he stated is a valid reason .. especially on this memorial day you speak of

goalie, in my mind should have taken one of the available teams when coming up to the aaa.

yes he is a commish but he was only made a commish after denman couldn't fullfill his duties as one.

the teams were already in place and people have been playing with them the whole time.

there was no new sign up thread as well so all teams in the majors should have been static... as well i'm sure he posted in the interested thread to stay in the majors.

i don't want to make anyone look bad here, just stating the facts and obvious...seems like account has dibs on philly.

Since no one (Goalie, other members, etc...) is responding to the threads written by Macteago and myself, I would assume that we are correct in our assumptions as to the selection process/criteria for getting in the Majors....???? I know in my case it is a personal issue with one of the commissioners of LG from about 8 months ago, but I shouldnt be penalized forever. This website is great and the only way for it to stay that way is to gain new members and become stronger. Always having the same group of people play in all of the leagues gets old pretty quick. In addition, me and a few others have been in the MLB forum since day 1, played all of our games, and input on all aspects of the pre-season - and we still get shafted. Lastly, I seriously doubt that the AAA league is going to stay strong and stay intact because of the above reasons mentioned by Mac and I. I guess I will stop my whining now, except this has happened to me several times since I joined LG.

One person can only take getting bent over so many times.....One question - how can someone who was on the waiting list (after teams were original selected) get in the majors before someone in the AAA????? Unbelievable!!!

For the record, Accountblocked should be the Phillies..

I guess since Macteago and I are the only ones who have said anything on this issue - we are correct..????

 

i could see why accountblocked is mad, but goalie has done a great job at commish i think he deserves to take whatever team he wants

 

so he could jump in and take the yankees or boston.. and have ortho or striker take another team just because.

even though he is commish i still think he should follow the rules as everyone else..

and as i pointed out earlier he was made commish after the teams were decided, if this was at the beginning with no teams selected, then of course there wouldn't be any problems.

and yes i agree, goalie has been on here every day and he's tried to organize and get this league rolling...i'm sure he puts in a lot of time as well.. props go to him to getting a squad ready for season 1 and am looking forward to it... nothing against goalie and his intentions.

 

Goalie did not just appropriate the Phillies. It was a miscommunication issue. No need to rehash what has already been discussed in this thread.

 

so if it was a miscommunication issue then account should be awarded his phillies back and goalie take the giants.

but it seems to me we all just decided to go with the flow, as account i'm sure doesn't care being the giants..just wanted a fair explanation on it.

and i'm just stating all of this, because if it were to happen to me i'd be doing the same. not like anyone else wants the spos though :twisted:

 

So how much do you get for being spokesman errr....<cough>.... spokesperson for Accountblocked? With all this b_otching might start taking certain individuals for women.

Now before you start flaming me, my point is lets mooooooooooove on everyone has stated their point. Lets play ball gentlemen.

 

I will be more than willing to help out in any way. If Account wants Houston and I take San Fran... so be it . I just want everyone to be happy and get the games going.

Let me know what you would like me to do and I will comply.

Accountblocked: I don't think Goalie granted my trade of :anaa: for :bhou: because we are C-Biskit teammates. I would venture to guess he based it on the post he created over a week ago about the 5 MLB teams available. You shouldn't ASSUME, we all know why :wink: Let me know if getting Houston would resolve this situation.

 

so what now that you state your case you want to stop it and run away..

Oakland and SF Bay area is about an hours drive further away

anyway, Seattle was his #1 choice.

San Fran was #2.

Phillie was his # 4 choice.

man, good thing i didn't give him seattle, his #1 choice...

he would have been REALLY mad!!!
