East/West Playoff Seeding Predictions

Just something to do - what are your guys predictions on how the NHL playoffs will shape up?

Eastern Conference
1) Pittsburgh Penguins
2) Boston Bruins
3) Florida Panthers
4) New York Rangers
5) Philadelphia Flyers
6) New Jersey Devils
7) Ottawa Senators
8) Winnipeg Jets

I think the Penguins catch the Rangers down the stretch and also the Caps struggle a bit and fall out of the playoff picture.

2) Vancouver Canucks
3) Los Angeles Kings
4) Nashville Predators
5) Chicago Blackhawks
6) Detroit Red Wings
7) Colorado Avalanche
8) San Jose Sharks

Leafs blow it every year and it is really starting to suck

 

I'm glad the Rangers clinched already, but I'm sure they'll lose the #1 seed down the stretch after being there for 4 months already lol.

 

haha I live in Toronto and I see the sadness in every Leafs fans face. It was a bitter-sweet moment for me though. I'm a Habs fan but at the same time, I want Canadian teams to win the cup!

 

Canadian team will never win the Cup it would not be good for the USA market examples why

1: 1992-93 Leafs and LA Gretzky highsticks Gimour no penalty Gretzky scores the winner / Montreal ends up playing LA pure shit
2: Calgary in the Finals goal dosn't count not sure of other team
3: and pretty sure could be drawn last year with Van but who knows

Gomez who? haha well played Tris. At least he gave us something to look forward to each game! Is this the game in which Gomez scores? Most likely not but if it happens, we all cheer!

I agree with pretty much everything but I expect the Rangers to hold on to 1st seed in the East.

 

As a Boston Fan I must say that I love Toronto.... Thank you for Seguin! Actually the trade worked out well for both teams. Kessel and Seguin are both great and will continue to make great contributions to each organization. It's not Kessel's fault that Toronto stunk it up. Hell, Kessel has done everything he can "Offensively" to try and produce wins.

 

I love that the Hawks won 2 years ago, but I'm already ready for another one! I would love to have to face Vancouver in the playoffs again! Ugh, I hate them!!

 

I WISH the Ottawa Senators would wake up and win a cup I know im asking for alot but that would be so sick. 20th year anniversary too.
