Community Vote : Delay Or Play?

Why cant we try it in club? I remember there was a reason. Would that help?

Every time you ask a game changer or someone from EA they just give you an answer like, 'we're looking into it."

I would love to say I have faith in EA but I honestly don't. I'd be surprised if this gets fixed anytime soon.

It has something to do with the coding of the game and they claim they had no idea this was in it. What about the game changers testing the game and playing EASHL, was there home captain delay and button delay when they did and we'll never know?

I truly hope they fix it and I do want to play this season but I can already see it might be a huge mess.

 

I like Mavs idea with tweeking lagout rules and such. EA isn't going to do shit anytime soon. They never do and care nothing for this league or the people in it. Here's another solution it may suck but it is what it is.

Give people the option to retire but do it within a week or 2 of regular season this way we can prevent the ones who are just leaving because of a bad team late in the season, put through random assignments so there are the most people we can get per organization. It sucks but call up AHL players to replace those who retire and then the AHL can call up random assignments. While this may suck it is what it is and we need to deal with the hand we are delt. If people don't want to do the whole call-up thing then use ecus for the lagging player(s).

As someone who has played more games with captain delay than anyone in this shit community, I say play. They aren't finding a fix anytime soon.

 

With pushing the season back one week it takes the schedule into January.. and the holiday season... are we going to be cutting the 82 game seasondown a week?

 

just play. the game will always be laggy so it's not gonna make a difference

 

LGHL Lockout -read "Lagout" - shortened season.

 

1 week pushes the season through the holidays and up to a two week pause to complete regular season before play offs & also affects off-season and start of next season. Hopefully a shorten (as some suggested) season to keep things in line is the plan. This would at least help keep league time line for the year fit my yearly schedule.

You may know something I don't, but I would be shocked if this issue is addressed by EA within a week or so.

I'm also pretty sure when you're the away team in the NHL on your way onto the ice they don't assault one of your players and make you play 6v5 but I could be wrong.

 

There is usually time off at the holidays or typically play offs run through them so it affects less people going away. It's usually a week or 2 break but if you push back the season it gets mixed into this whole holiday break.

You have it set for a 1 week hold for the season start & I am suggesting that the season be reduced by that week and not push the whole yearly schedule back a week or more due to delay start. I kind of rely on the seasons & off seasons to fall where they do. More so the first season finishing into the off-season mostly.

 

A patch? The Beta was issue free, apparently the "patch" was the problem.

 

I must have been Chislett on the beta because I didn't have a problem with it nor did anyone I was playing with. Did you personally ever have a problem with it on the Beta?
