Good: Cant see who you play in ranked matches before the game. People wont bum hunt on leaderboards.
Bad: Cant see the connection before the game.

Good: Versus line changes and strats change can be saved if you dont exit out of team pick screen after a game.
Bad: Should be able to save forever so you can back out, check other things and not have to change every time you re-enter a ranked game.

Bad: CR for ranked versus? Doesnt show recent opponents online record.

Bad: Puck pickups are still fucking attrocious.

Bad: The puck chop change sucks. And It delays. I tried to puck chop it in the offensive zone corner and nothing happened. My teammate on 6s picks it up tries to cycle it to me and as soon as i should receive the pass it goes to the puck chop animation automatically even though i clicked it like 5 seconds before.

Bad: The old between the legs deke sucks. Doesnt work with at all and the button combo for it sucks, should have left it. Works in versus minimally if you have a guy like crosby or ovi.

Bad: The new button combo for hip check sucks ass too. Half the time you crouch to block shot the other half you go into hip check animation.

Bad: The new deke controls suck in general. People will end up just not using them.

Just my original thoughts.

 

Why don't I get positive feedback as goalie lol only negative and I'm winning every game 14-2 record. Careless positioning seems to pop up way too much and I was #3 goalie on PS4 for 3s today

 

Goalie still has some bug like trying cover the puck some of the anamsions are still having problem from what I played

 

The whole time I've been playing the NHL series I've used the fixed camera. I'm '17, or was it '16, EA decided that when using this camera angle and when you have the puck the camera should zoom in and changes angles. PLEASE PLEASE make this camera angle as it was in '15. Much appreciated.

 

cross grain snipes need to be fixed i should be able to move 1/8 of a inch with out my goalie flying away like i hit my left stick away to the other side i should be able to track the puck without having to having to give up a angle to worry about a cross grain snipe

 

Happened on back to back shots (similar shot). First one hit my goalie with no reaction, next one well....this happened. No screen on either shot. Just curious as to why no reaction regardless of if it goes in.

 

Intermissions need to go in NHL threes

 

Poke check seems kind of sluggish. Chop button changing was dumb. It was fine the way it was in 17, they just needed to stop players from freezing or getting stuck in the shooting animation.

Its because D-men usually have more energy than forwards who use the hustle button constantly. Monitor the energy bar during a game and you will see.

Too slow, stick lifts never work, cant intercept a pass in D. They need to remap the puck chop cause R3 and the right joystick.

 

i think eashl 3's should be in the mini arcade rink, big rink seems like too much and theres way too many penalties with computers on the ice slowing it down more

Noticed on multiple occasions while gliding backwards in the defensive zone my player would just abruptly stop for no reason. Maybe I'm hitting puddles in the ice...

 

Also, they should keep cpus out for 3s. If theres a pp, 3v2, then 4v2 if theres another one. Also, smaller rink . and they should figure out a way to get people to still play 6s
