CHL OWNERS NEEDED

Have we all forgotten the dreaded TC list from last season? Where the names just went on and on, playing maybe a game a month?

Many of you believe you are NHL bound or will remain in the AHL but that may not be the case.

One would guess maybe 60-90 of the 510 (not including the TC list) AHL players of last season may be in the NHL this season.


The big picture

We have around 1600 players and there is only 1020 NHL/AHL roster spots leaving 500 + players destined for the CHL.
The player base is there, but we need owners who can lead them. As it stands right now, the CHL would be cancelled because we do not have enough interested owners.

The league is prepared and ready now. We need the owners so we can prepare for the start of the season. We do not want to jump into it when the community realizes they should have taken the job when it was offered.

If we do not have a CHL the TC will once again be numerous and players not getting their 10 AHL games will end up a prospect again in season 3 therefore once again ineligible for NHL/AHL bidding.

Lets get the CHL up and running now. The league can not do this alone we need the community.

Please guys fill these spots, if it's not filled it's going to make the league less enjoyable for guys on a 50 man tc roster waiting for a chance to play and that chance may never come, so please step up guys and help the league

 

I'm being honest as a AGM to people reading this post if my TC list is 40+ people me and my GM @Live_by_SIN will not have the time to try you guys all out and listen to all the complaints you have being active is great but i personally would rather go ahead and take a
"take a step down" and play every week then playing twice a month if that. For people saying the CHL is shit it's really not i played in VG CHL and you will be surprised by not only the skill level but how much fun it is. Don't inflate your own stock and be preparing for the NHL/AHL life. Also if you are a Prospect highly highly unlikely you are coming to AHL as of now

I'm a chl owner and I really want a chl league don't feel like being on a 45 guy TC and get ignored

 

I wish I can do both be with the comets and run a CHL team because I am more than ready to handle that responsibility and I want make sure the PS part of this league strives on all fronts.

 

Hoping to finalize CHL over the weekend if possible. Once we announce the teams and owners we will not be adding. If you do not realize now after all the threads and posts to sign up it will be to late. We will not be trying to organize a whole season of a level of the league on the night before the opener. This is the weekend to make your decision, the numbers are all there for all to see. 35% of the members are destined for a tc list. It's up to the members to decide if you would rather just sit and wait to be ecu'D oncd or twice a month or to actually have a league to play in nightly.

Have a CHL? Have a CHL with only a handful of teams? Cancel CHL?
As the league needs time to prepare as well.

Step up before its to late people , if you end up being on a TC team again it's not a lot of fun .

Ya, I did my interview with them last night, they are good dudes even if a bit crazy haha. Really hope to see the CHL come through, I went through being a TC last season, it isn't fun, so if you can everyone please try and support the league!
