Battlefield 1943

I see a lot of us are playing - any interest in a league?

 

i could definitely get into it.

 

I feel if you're guna do a 1st person shooter league just wait til modern warfare 2.

 

yeah but look at the stats - it is the #2 game on lg - with a 200 member hockey tourney this week

 

exactly. everyone and their grandmother has been playing this game.

 

Im not sure how private matches work but I've heard of the unused spots being open to the public so I think we would have to have full teams of 12 in order to play. I think another alternative would be if there was anywhere else that's hosting a BF1943 league that LG could have a team or two playing in that instead.

thats what i was thinking in my statement. bf1943 is a 12 v 12 where you really need at least 10. plus you've got 3-4 new leagues coming along with hockey. Things are guna get stretched thin and I think a fps is the 1st league to get skirted when it comes to responsibility...To me it's more a of a planned event thing...

 

planned event might be a good idea as well.

 

i say go for it ..the numbers speak for themselves like staggz said its number 2 and frankly thats only because the tourny is going on and nhl is the main game here to start....and about the games being completely private im not sure either but im sure we can rustle a few guys together as a test 10 v 10 see if anyone gets added in

If we get 24 people to post interest - I will start one up.
It has to last longer than the GTA league did

 

I have checked the private match settings and it can be 8 on 8

 

if we get 24 ppl we can do three teams of 8 and round robin style tourny

 

i guess the bf1943 league start up isnt happening

 

its sad. Back to the dutch rudders i guess.
