Award Committee Interest

The league is considering putting together a committee of players in the league to help decide award winners at the end of each season. If you have an interest in taking part in this committee please post below.

This should be done with the owners, all of the owners should be in committee with the staff because the owners have seen everyone play all season, they have insight, we dont need a committee if the owners were expected to give imput

 

How about top 6 teams then or teams that fields average 9 players a game to 11 and teams who inputted stats i hope I have the right credentials

 

Yes i do, just because their team didnt preform doesnt mean their opinion shouldnt matter. Atm its 3 people making the awards and nominating people and no matter what way you slice it, 3 people making the awards looks biased, if you add in the 12 managers, 15 total people suggesting is more accurate. And your right, the bottom half owners might not give imput, and thats their fault, you put the suggestion out there and whether or not they respond thats on them. But they should at least be given the opportunity to suggest.

And yes i know some ideas are going to be bad, but the idea is responsible owners, is it not? If they are responsible they will give responsible suggestions, which ranks right up there with the other idea. The one about having to manage before you can own.

 

Thats a valid arguement as well, but last night we had 5 players show up and our owners are nino and lake. Its not fair to discourage people who struggle to field 9 because the people they signed arent being reliable, none of the guys who didnt show last night said they were unavailable, they just flat up didnt show up, and thats not the owners fault.

 

Yout not understanding the point, they suggest ideas. Yes they see their players play, but no matter what way you slice it, the dude who scored the most goals was clearly the best striker that season, those things cant be ignored. If you want a more accurate awards, the site needs better stats like silver suggested.

As far as the owner thing, it looks no different than when the 3 people who already to do awards vote for players that the community disagrees on, there are plenty of owners/management teams, that i can name that would give honest and not rediculous imput

3. I'm always honest given the fact the Ecf Rodriguez hasn't been on a single TOTW is weird and we complained once
4. Maximum of 1 team on Tots should be 4
5. Sunderland had alot of players on Tots last season when Spurs won 2 cups last season. And I know stats were inputted but still
6. Committe Input is good but at the same time it's about being popular it's how baby j didn't get in it when he was Manchester city's best defence when city won the champions league

7. If you want to go based off my "biased" power rankings I mean so far I have been right until this week with 4 sudden down falls of good teams

8. But I guess I don't have the credentials oh well
