I ran an MLB league for a few seasons over on my site and I'd be willing to help out if necessary. And I'd love to be in this league.

I suck at MLB so it should be an easy win for all of you

Yes, because I'm labelled a "cheeser" in another sports game means that I'm obviously a "cheeser" in baseball and am going to ruin the league.

Are there any rules on gameplay...

like constant ball throwing...or stuff like that...

I mean hopefully they somehow make it easier to tell in 2k8.

Hopefully 2k8 is good...god it would suck if it sucked again... :D

We need to get the game in our hands before we can announce anything. I was talking to Bones this evening and we don't anticipate S8 starting before the first week of April. Ideally, we would like to see a roster update before launching the season. We all know that could take awhile and I would hate to have to wait for the All-Star break before we get started ;-) My guess is they would be updating within a week or two after opening day.

As far as rules, those will be very similar to season's past. We anticipate a full 30 team league. As far as a minor league system, that is on the back burner for now.

I'm glad to see so many people start talking about this game....won't be long now.

I also like to see us start after a roster update(if I even get in).

Btw, can anybody tell if they have found any info about whether they moved the bunt from the right stick? Or does the league plan on being swing stick exclusive? I know last year the prospect league was, so figuring the main league was. If the controls are identical to 2k7, I have no interest in the game. 2k6's swing stick wasn't as bad, 2k7 I hated very much.

They seem easy enough but I am a little confused about these cards?!? I wonder what you have to do to earn the cards, plus it looks like they have 100% revamped the controls. It looks to be an easy 800 points, anyway I am preordering my copy today during lunch.

I always thought it would be sweet to be in an online baseball league, haven’t played a lot of the ball games but when I did it was a fun. To be playing it with guys at LG would just enhance the experience I would think.

    Peace

Yeah I was thinking about expanding my horizons too if you guys would have me. I'm an Indians fan by heart, but I could deal with the Reds(still an Ohio team after all) or whoeever. It always sounded like a good time. And I know the commishes are some righteous mother****ers :)

The Indians  Sorry had to laugh lol. Of course I really shouldn't my Reds aren't any better. Speaking of the Reds, according to DirecTV I should be able to receive their games on FSN Ohio HD this year. What can be better then watching them lose in HD. :)

I hope so because I get the MLB package to watch other teams (no one in particular, mainly west coast teams late at night) and I am disappointed each year when most are not in HD. What bothers me most is when they are advertising they are in HD and on my TV it sure as hell not in HD. So I cross my fingers and hope they are!!!

Hmmm, let's see......I'm guessing a sharp stick in the eye might be a better option.

    The latest info...With video!

Love that "Diving Play" vid. When the ball is hit into the RF corner, the RF'er seems really smooth going in after it and turning and getting it in. Last year they would bump into the wall, have a sandwich, read the paper, stretch out and then throw. 60fps is going to make an incredible difference in this game.
