Media AHLPSN ALL STAR SELECTION: FINAL ROSTERS

Congrats to all who were up for voting for the past few days and thanks to everyone who took to time out to vote. Here are the final rosters for the 4 divisional teams. The GMs are highlighted in green.
I will be in contact with you for the details on what you need to do as GM.

The tournament will start tomorrow with the 3 game round robin. Your team will play the other 3.
Game times will be 9pm, 10pm and 11pm.

EVERY PLAYER ON THE ROSTER WILL PLAY ONE OF THE FIRST 3 GAMES!!!!

Saturday will be a best of 3 between the top 2 teams after the round robin. Games 1&2 will be 9pm and 10pm. Game 3 will be 11pm if necessary.

If you cannot make any of these games, please let your GM know ASAP!

seriously how the fuck kozmo on here he has only 12 games played this season.

 

nothing against kozmo but he shouldnt even have been on the ballot. so he had even less games played when the poll got put out. Its quite a joke

I understand the concerns about a player being voted in with not a lot of time played this season and wanting a player from every team involved. They are certainly valid points and will be considered next season.

I find it interesting that these comments are coming after the voting is over and I posted this thread. That tells me that some folks had no interest in the voting at all while it was going on and are just finding out now about the selection process. I would suggest that if you want your thoughts to count at a time that may affect the current issue, you should try to interact with the site sooner and find out more about what is going on in your LG community. You may even find some areas where you can also contribute to the league other than playing games.

I think the argument might be that since this is done in the AHL, we may want to copy it. I understand your theory but I disagree. I have a hard time believing that a team will pay attention if one of their players is added in by way of a team minimum. I would actually think there will be more disagreement with the idea of a player being added that way then by vote. The players had their chance to vote and whole teams could have really helped their nominees if they voted as a team.
Look at the 6 teams that have no representation and see how many votes their players received. Some are barely near the 17 number that would make up their whole roster and that is not even checking the actual voters which may bring that number down even further. If players want results, they need to act.

If your team had players to vote for then your team was infact represented. Its too bad they didnt get picked

 

The GMs selected their nominees. I feel they have the best knowledge of how their guys are playing. We also have trust in the GMs do make non-biased selections and I believe they have done that.

The other part of this is that no one had stepped up to run this show so the Media Directors were asked to take this over for now.

 

I think you did great tsibs i love the format should be fun. Dont worry about people complaning everyone had a chance to vote on players from every team.

Everyone has an opinion once it's done, and a way it should be done but didn't put there name forward to help set it up.

Just like every ASG there will be snubs and guys who shouldn't be there in some people's opinions. I'm a fan of not forcing every team to compete.

 

Its totally fine. Z3US is a friend and we are just having a back and forth on the issue. I do value his opinion and it should be considered.
