Also need to figure out who these guys played in terms of lines. Playing non-playoff teams is irrelevant if they played a top line. USUALLY, non-playoff teams still have that 1 line that can challenge the best teams at times.

 

Yeah, I'm sure Grand Rapids first line gives plenty of people trouble.

Fact is there's 50+ guys in this league that had a more difficult schedule than everyone @PureFiishin thinks 'should' be nominated for MVP. Criteria number 5 clearly states strength of schedule has to have some sort of impact on MVP. There's also the fact that when you look at a team like Cleveland, you literally cannot point out one person as MVP, it is down right impossible to pick one person from Cleveland simply because Wags line and Gunwoat line both played with the same people all season, have the same +/-, records, and are all very close in points.

As soon was the criteria was given to us from Brodie saying strength of schedule has to have an impact, Fisher lost any claim he MAY have had on MVP.

To build off what you're saying about what lines they played, I challenge you to go out and find someone willing to do this for every single person who lead the league in points, goals, assists, +/-, and FO%. The easiest way to do strength of schedule is to use a teams place in the standings (or in the case of teams in the Central, their known capabilities.)

 

Why is @Lorenzo x 24 not on this list? He's clearly the MVP for Tucson, and isn't an NHL player punching below his weight class like ScrubFisher. He's probably someone's second tag but until proven, he deserves consideration. More points than Semp, too.

How am I irrelevant against good teams? I've played pro series for 3 seasons ending up 3rd and 2nd. Im pretty sure only good players play in the invite division. I also won the cup last year, putting up 70+ points in the NHL every season. Besides that, go look at my record against good teams and what about bad teams 1st lines? Most of the teams in our division were pretty good it just sucked we had the hardest division by far.

You have no argument here. You can keep thinking you're Jesus on ice if you want, that's fine; you aren't fooling anyone on LG. You told your whole fucking team you refused to play anyone but the RBK line, then you got dicked on by that line. If you wanna talk about your big stanley cup from last season, in the conference finals and finals combined, you went 1-3 with 3 points, and a -37 TA/GA ratio.

If that isn't enough, do you want to add the AHL playoff stats on to that? Big 2-5 with 5 goals, 5 points, and a -60 TA/GA?

Like I said, keep talking, everyone knows how 'good' you are when a good team plays their game, and your last two visits to playoffs speak for that.

 

Its the Most Valuable Player, not necessarily points or someone from the best team... Id almost pick someone like @nO Undies On ... If it was not for brad I bet we (San Antonio) would not have even made playoffs, good record, decent points, didn't play shitters 24/7. etc.

I think there are alot of player's who could be nominated for this, but just an example.
