Welcome to the ECHL Week 6 Review! The trade deadline has come and gone and the true playoff push begins (began) this week! Since we are going into the final weeks of the season, I'd thought I would highlight some of the best players of the season so far from each division based on statistics, WAR and how their team has done so far this season so we can highlight some possible award finalists when the regular season awards are handed out. I will be going over a Winger, Center, Defenseman, and Goalie for each division with stats from The Spreadsheet by @Fleury l8l WEST Winger: @pack48man - 36G, 39A, +13, 12-8-2 Sitting tied with 75 points in the Western point standings, I went with Pack48man. I went with them over @Scotty I19I merely for the fact the SOS is higher but it is extremely close between the two of them. Center: @xStLiLLUSi0N - 17G, 37A, +26, 17-2-2 Not the highest up on the points list with the likes of @Wzia but this kid and team are absolutely ROLLING. One of the best WAR cards for Centers in all of the ECHL. Defenseman: @mowsky2 - 4G, 30A, +27, 16-4-2 I really wanted to give this to @Guru x 26 as the takeaway-giveaway stat is HORRID for Mowsky but Guru's WAR card is lacking in Defense.. which is kinda the thing you look for in Defensemen. How mowsky has this WAR card and a solid record on a bottom tier team is beyond me. HEAT UP Goalie: @DreamzVIL - .867 SV%, 2.12 GAA, 20-5-5 Not much more to say. Dreamz is HIM. (Please ignore last nights 3-1 loss to Fort Wayne) EAST Winger: @LGallagherL11 - 42G, 27A, +35, 17-3-1 I really wanted to work another winger in on this list but it was too hard to pass up on Gallagher. Tied in the East with 69 points with @Giroux but the WAR card for Gallagher was just a touch better outside of the shitty SOS. Center: @dboot90 - 26G, 33A, +29, 13-4-1 Listen, its going to look like a lot of Newfoundland glazing but these MF's buzz. Again some of the better WAR stats and he sits alone at the Center position in points. Defenseman: @Niavlys V24 - 2G, 34A, +37, 18-2-1 Newfoundland has to be stopped. One of the best defensemen in the league on one of the best teams in the league. Funny how that works out. Again, I really wanted to move away from this team but the WAR cards back up their play. Not much they can do from SOS standpoint except play the teams that are in front of them. Goalie: @DarthxKitten868 - .867 SV%, 2.24 GAA, 24-10-3 FINALLY. A DIFFERENT TEAM. Okay, okay I know I could have gone @TheGIW603 or @StrawHatBen- but DarthxKitten has the same if not better save percentages on more shots faced as well as more shutouts than both goalies COMBINED with 4.

Listen! I know! I have no idea how your defense rating is at a 40% when all your stat categories are better. I’m just not smart enough to figure out why! Like I said - I really wanted to go with you but the crazy record and WAR card on a team in the lower tier of ECHL teams was too good to pass up.
