    This Review on the Season 7 Draft. We are going off of the success from Nhl 18 Seasons to now (Nhl 22) in LG and skill on PlayStation. Big thanks to the people who helped with the Tiers and Reviews @SelkeSean, @MikeyD-_-7, @GoochLicker_23 @MrPurpleCrush, @mamm7216 and others.

    Elite Tier (S)

    @scottychel (GirouxSzn) :team8:
    Position Selected: #2
    The “most electrifying player” was drafted to the Avalanche’s Dynasty at 2nd overall. He has two Stanley cups with the Avs. His best Individual season was going 25-1-0 with 72 points in season 7, which he got snubbed from the Calder (best rookie). It was also the best individual season in this draft win-wise. He is the only player from this draft to be successful in eshl as he has won many events like CBJ and Isles (Round 1) and has come 2nd in many other events.

    @AyoMoran (Drafted as a Goalie):team74:
    Position Selected: #49

    The most successful forward in this draft other than @ScottyNHL, but Moran was formerly an outstanding goalie. He won a Calder Cup with @ColeMerKs @BLong67- @xOgLowkeyxx and @MT98 in season 8, being 8-1 with an 853 Save percentage 1.78 GAA. In the Nhl as a goalie, he went 55 - 49 - 11. When he transitioned to forward in season 11, he went 160 - 54 - 24 with 607 points as a C/LW. His season was his cup-winning season in s17 when he went 24-2-2 with 77 points playing with Tommy and bo dangles. In Eshl, Moran had his best season In CBJ with the crodies with a solid stat line of 16-6-2 with 65 points.

    All-Star Tier: (A)
    @MikeyD-_-7 :team9:
    Position Selected: #122
    It’s not common for a player selected three picks from the final spot to crack an NHL roster almost immediately, but that’s precisely what Mikey did in season 7. He’s steadily grown into a high-end two-way defender on PSN ever since. He ranks 1st in total points among defensemen in this draft class with 293 and has scored at the 2nd-highest rate of those defensemen at a .94 PPG clip, coming in under only BA_Sports_Fan (who has scored at a ridiculous 1.38 PPG rate.) On the E-Sports side of things, he’s had a solid track record and shown he can play with a variety of skilled groups and fit in with any of them. In Caps, he’s got a 20-10-6 record in two seasons, one with Dahlia and one with Next Up. In CBJ Gaming, he boasts a stellar 69-29-11 record across four seasons, featuring each season with a different squad (Crodies, The Academy, No Regrets, and a 2nd go around with Next Up.) And for good measure, in his only season on LG Xbox, he threw up 20 wins. So, suffice it to say, Mikey is easily one of the best players to come out of this draft and certainly a top player at his position.

    Hra’s career has been an unusual one. After being selected 11th overall, he was bounced around quite a bit, being traded 7(!) times during the first season of his draft contract. He gained a full-time spot on an NHL roster in S9. After a very solid 17 wins in his rookie season his totals took a bit of a dip, registering only 13 wins in each of his next 3 seasons. However, after becoming an owner in the NHL he seemed to take a step, getting himself 15-16 wins the next 5 seasons. But there always seemed to be some missing piece in Hra’s game when it came to LG. If you’ve been around the community like me, you know he’s always been a player with offensive skill, but for whatever reason it never quite translated to league games. At least that was the case until last season, when he broke out in a huge way offensively, registering 83 points and 21 wins in 28 games. He capped his big season off with his first cup win, and the regular season he had was arguably the best single season we’ve seen from any forward in this draft class since Giroux’s rookie season in which he went 25-1. One would hope that Hra has (finally) arrived, and the switch to defense doesn’t kill his momentum. Only time will tell.

    @BLong67- :team20:
    Position Selected: #17
    Next up we have BLong. Like Hra, he didn’t earn a roster spot on an NHL team until season 9, and he struggled a bit early on. 13 and 14 wins aren’t terrible, especially for your first two NHL seasons, and he posted 50+ points in each season which is respectable. It was over the following few seasons that he truly earned his reputation as the highly skilled winger he’s known for being, and just like Hra is undoubtedly coming off his best season yet, with career bests in wins (21) and points (71). While he’s never really been in any scoring title races (his 1.98 PPG ranks 9th amongst forwards from this draft class with at least 100 regular season games played at forward), he’s always been consistent, coming in 3rd in total career points behind only Moran and Gooch. He’s off to a great start again this season, going 3-0 with 10 points in week 1 and looks to keep up his high level of play from last season. I personally believe he’s capable of hitting the 80 point plateau and even though he plays for a division rival, I hope to see him do that this season.

    @BA_Sports_Fan :team1:
    Position Selected: #5

    Another former s6 67’s player who went 5-1 in the chl and was the best dman in this draft. He has had an excellent career as a west guy from s7-s13, going 135-37-17 with 259 points. His best season was in s9, going 22-2-1 with 45 points with @AAli x 21, @YungREAP x @Diamond I 4 I. However, in season 15, he lost all interest in the game and fell off the grid and hardly touches the game anymore. BA has only played 6 games in ESHL, going 5-1 with Chernobyl.

    Fringe All-Star Tier: (B+)

    @GoochLicker_23 :team28:
    Position Selected: #6
    The Licker is one of the funniest guys in LG. He has been consistent throughout his career since he was drafted. However, he had a couple of average/below average seasons from s15-s17. His best season was in season 13, playing with a stacked Toronto squad with @Pier_talent and @Bo-Dangles10 as management. In eshl, Gooch went 5-0 with 28 points playing for a Budz team who finished with a 20-3-1 record. After that, Gooch made appearances for Academy, Deadshot and Absolute. Overall, Gooch has been one of the most consistent forward stat wise to come out of this draft.

    @ExtraSweetSauce (Happy-Gilmore-27) :team75:
    Position Selected: #30
    After being taken 30th overall in the S7 draft, @ExtraSweetSauce slowly but steadily worked his way to a very reliable top pairing LD in the league. After 3 AHL seasons and 3 NHL seasons, Brax finally had a break-out S13 hitting a career high 19 wins while really showing how well rounded his game had become. One of the more underrated parts of his game is his discipline. in 270 games (Season & Playoffs), Brax has only taken 27 minor penalties. Not going to find many more reliable guys that get the job done without putting their team on the PK.

    Good Tier: (B)
    @BigWerthy (Og-CrispyCreamy) :team676:
    Position Selected: #1

    Tons and tons of hype for mr Werthy pre draft as he used to play with Mclovin and all of the old gen biggies in Nhl 18. He was a pretty good player when he played in LG but one of the biggest disappointments as he was supposed to be one of the top players in the game. His best season was with the Vegas Golden Knights scoring 43 goals and 47 assists for a total of 90 points but the season after that in S14 he was banned and has not played in LG since.

    @SebQc97 :team21:
    Position Selected: #50

    Maybe not well known to those who are fairly new to the league, but @SebQc97 is probably one of the more underrated talents taken in the S7 draft. Selected 50th overall by the Nashville Predators, Seb posted great numbers over his 5 seasons in the CHL and AHL before finally getting his shot in the NHL. Although he has only played in 4 NHL seasons, he had a very respectable 15 win/48 point rookie season with Washington, and followed that up with back to back 80 point seasons in S12/S13 picking up 21 and 18 wins respectively. He also had a 6-1 playoff record in S13 helping the Tampa Bay Lightning reach the Stanley Cup Finals.

    @Distraqted :team78:
    Position Selected: #18
    The 18th pick in the season 7 LGHL PSN Draft, it took Distraqted a while to hit the potential seen by the Wild’s scouting group. After a modest 10 win rookie season, Distraqted spent 4 seasons in the AHL before making his return back to the NHL. Once there, Distraqted immediately made an impact winning 19 games, adding 23 points and a career best +31 on the season. For his LGHL career, Distraqted is 86-36-18 in the regular season with 15 goals, 109 points and a +81. In the playoffs, Distraqted has shown up with a 9-4-1 record, with 8 points and +3. Distracted is currently one of the highest paid defenders in PSN this season at a 5.5M contract, which is deserved for the level of player he is.

    @nitteh (Nitram)
    Position Selected: #120
    It has been a long time since little Marty has played PSN. From what I remember nitram ideally on a 2nd line RD and RW but could get away with being a support guy on a good 1st line. His best season was in Season 8 with the Hurricanes going 18-8-1 with 15 points and a +30. Nitram has since transferred to xbox and has been a solid support player as well over there for about 3 seasons.

    @iLikeSpanks (DrFurryNips):team77:
    Position Selected: #4

    Average Tier: © (short reviews)

    @xOgLowkeyxx :team20:
    Position Selected: #115
    Won a cup with Hartford in season 8. Hasn’t had any notable seasons in the nhl on LGPSN but was successful on the Xbox side of things. Let’s see if he can pick it up with the DIRTYDAWG

    @JDFRYE31 :team21:
    Position Selected: #20
    Drafted 20th overall by the Sharks Jdfrye started off in the AHL played 2 seasons in the nhl in season 9 and 10 and went back down to the ahl until season 16. Jdfrye has always been a solid third line player but is now becoming a great support player for a 1st or 2nd line. With Ottawa the last two seasons he has put up a total of 131 points in 60 games. In season 19 he is back with eastons and is looking to have another great season which will finally put him up to the “ Good Tier” rating.

    @Ligma Leafs :team76:
    Position Selected: #96
    Probably the best goalie selected in this draft. Ligma Leafs has had some really good and average seasons as a goalie in the NHL. His best season was in season 9 with LA Kings putting up a 30-13-6 record with a 843 save % and a 2.02 GAA which is pretty damn good.

    @xSnipeSter :team6:
    Position Selected: #34
    After being a chl/ahl hero for a very long time snipe decided to make the jump to the nhl. In his first season managing with Nashville he ended up quitting 1-2 weeks in doing absolutely horrible but then he came back and ended up winning a cup with CBJ.

    @Williams_55 :team28:
    Position Selected: #85
    Williams had his first season in the NHL with @MrPurpleCrush on the florida panthers in season 10 and showed that he was a pretty solid support player or third liner. From seasons 11 - 13 he has found himself playing for Purple crush and had his best season in season 13 scoring 78 points in 33 games and winning a cup with the yotes that season. Ever since winning the cup williams has not put up impressive numbers and we have not seen him since his last season in season 16 with the Winnipeg Jets

    @ChobanLacot :team77:
    Position Selected: #19
    CHOBAN! The 19th overall pick from the season 7 LGHL PSN Draft was a big contributor to the late Vibez Nashville teams, and he immediately was one of the best players in the league on one of the league’s earliest west lines. Skating with HypaD and Tarasenko, Choban put up 22 wins and had 45 goals and 85 points and helped him finish 2nd in calder voting. Choban was well on his way to another unreal season before being taken off Nashville as a trade compensation in season 8 to Vegas, where he’d finish the season with 19 points. Choban hit 20 wins one more time in his career with the Buffalo Sabres in season 11, but it’s been hit or miss for Choban since which is fitting for his playstyle. If you’re against Choban, move the rock quick or you’ll be concussed or shattered as he’s one of the most physical wingers I’ve ever played with. Choban is currently taking season 19 off.

    @Jamicanburger30 (vNylander) :team4:
    Ben always has been a solid player but has never had a breakout season in LG. This season he is with his boys Joffman, Saucy and Dods and is already having a great season scoring 19 points in 6 games. Hopefully that continues for him and he can work his way up the tier list!

    Bust Tier: (F)
    @txctfeezy :team8:
    Position Selected: #3
    One of my good friends back in the day. Tact was a part of a great 67’s squad. He won the cup with Colorado in season 8 going 17-9-1 with 57 points and 4-1 with 11 points in the playoffs since then, Tact has not been a NHL caliber player as he has had terrible seasons in the Nhl and Ahl.

    @Grzz l19l (Grzzlh):team78:
    Position Selected: #8
    Picked over me, involved in the Serpe deal with me (hra). I mean, he was a substantial goal-scoring threat in the CHL for North Bay in season 6, scoring 66 goals and having 103 points. That's about it on this guy #bust.

    Just a little more insight into @Ligma Leafs (I didnt do that write up). If he signed up this season he would have been part of my Playoffs Streaks/Droughts write up. He's made playoffs in 7 straight seasons dating back to S12. Might have been longer if he didnt decide to try being an owner as a Goalie and 3rd pair Dman in S10/S11. If he didnt take Owner those seasons and you consider his S9 playoff appearance, he very well could have possibly been sitting on 10 straight seasons making the playoffs.
