    1. Poke checks - The poke checks are way too overpowered and need to be reduced. When playing against top clubs its extremely hard to get in the zone and create any offense. It is a legit pinball fest.

    2. Agility - agility needs to be tuned up just a bit when turning. Also maybe tune the stick-handling a bit.

    3. Puck pick ups - where is this so called seamless puck pick up? I feel that the puck pick ups need to be increased just a bit. In the offensive zone when trying to receive a pass off the boards from a forward I notice that I just skate over the puck that's about a foot away from me and I get no pick up animation.

    4. Goalie Animation - the goalie animation is absolutely terrible when a slow roller is coming towards a goalie they get the blocker animation continuously and can do nothing about it.

    https://twitter.com/BonesOnDemand/status/906211212073033728

    5. LB animation - they need to reduce the LB animation because you can spam it in a corner and steal a puck from a forward or a dman trying to dig the puck out from the zone.

I have talked to a bunch of top players and they would agree on what needs to be fix to make NHL 18 a good game right now I can only judge what we have but with these tuners the game can be very good and maybe bring back a skill gap between top teams.

    1. Heck yes. Maybe not as much as you want to (if they made the skaters more agile).

    2. Yes. The speed is there to get separation from the defender (then they just poke you from behind anyways lol) and giving a little more agility to turn into open spaces faster would also help.

    3. I don't think they will ever fix this to the point where everyone will be satisfied, but it is worth trying to fix.

    4. No idea where the glitch came from, but it will hopefully be fixed soon.

    5. Also don't know how they fix this without making serious changes to how the puck reacts to hitting stick overall. Would it mean the shaft would allow the puck to ghost through it at all times? It would be silly. LG just needs to maintain their rules in regards to the LB move.

Can't say I'm a top player but as a scrub in the community I can 100% agree that the poke checks are quite ridiculous. I also find the computers need to be tuned down a little bit also. I find especially computer dmen are extremely OP, perhaps if they were tuned down a little bit it could add more balance to 6s when someone lags out of the game.

Also I find that the puck chops are almost not relevant this season. I think maybe making it easier to puck chop could be a good tool for dmen this season like it was last season

This is 100% spot On! If they could tune these things it would make this game the best since switching to the new console.

Stfu up and play the game. Maybe it's not the best balance of offense vs defense when it comes to this elusive unicorn that is 'skill gap' but it works.

Turds don't work at all so the 'skill gap' is all on the offense side.

Good team vs bad team in NHL 18. How the fuck is the bad team gonna score?

Yea it can be frustrating when I hold forehand and I get poked through my body but in honesty I should move the puck to the open guy anyways.

This game is all about communication, off the puck cuts, anticipation, and teamwork. It's fine. I really enjoy how wingers can no longer skate into traps at the blueline and still break the zone w/o some serious dangles

When BrandonBramanti agrees with your argument its validity instantly gets torpedoed. Anything he does is wrong. RIP Carch.

EDIT: Also wondering how it is bad spelling. You are a bit special anyways, so I will leave you be.

I don't even know if it's the full poke checks so much I think the biggest problem with them are the pokes from behind.

I think speeding up the agility and acceleration will negate the strength of the poke check. There's been many times that I'll receive a pass and pull the puck towards the forehand or backhand to avoid the defender and I won't be able to start skating right away when I bring it back like in last years game.

I don't really know how you can "tone" down the poke check unless they decide to make everyone's stick shorter. Increasing foot speed will increase the skill gap and people will still complain anyways

The defensive stick is over powered too which counts as poke check i guess but the defending team just skates at you with the defensive stick out and you lose the puck and you cant even deke to get around it.

Also why do we not have fast hands when we aren't skating? Im pretty sure in real life (since EA is trying to make NHL more realistic) players can stick handle a hell of a lot better when not moving lol.

100% agree on all things you said. But in my opinion even if the game isnt perfect at all its probably the best game since we are on next gen
