New Team Starting Today - DETAILS BELOW

Hello LG,

There have been some really downer threads today and I want to turn that around a bit if I can.

I feel that some aspects of club, FOR ME, have become stagnant. LG is super fun but club becomes the same old shit for me. Hopping into the CB to find guys to play with every day is getting old. Most of the time I grab like 5 off my friends list then get a CB goalie... But I want to end that trend, I don't want to come to the lg site to find my players at all, besides to make posts like this and to scout new CHL guys or NHL guys I haven't played with.

So with that being said. I want to start a legitimate organizational club, just because I think it would be fun for me and a couple friends, and I like to have structure sometimes. I realize we already have lg but this is different. I want to basically have 3 lines playing on 3 different clubs which all function as a unit, in a way. We will start with our 6-8 man roster for our A team, so to speak. Then once more people show interest they can be on the B team. And we will have a C team as well. That's about 24 to 30 guys max if there are 6-8 guys on a team. Players can get called up or sent down depending on line chem and how often they're winning/how well theyre playing. There will be no owners of any teams. There will however be people that are in control of different aspects of the team so everybody has a chance to contribute. Some will be head of scouting, some will be in charge of jersey design, some will be in charge of stadium design, some will be in charge of setting up intra-team scrimmages so practice when we have some free time or we are playing bad as an organization.

We will only play when we have our guys on, including goalies. We will try people out in our practices which will be held as often as the team sees fit, but ideally once a day to get out thumbs going, maybe twice to scout, and possibly more at slow hours, if that makes sense.

I know I'm not the first to do it. First Ballot and Shammers United have done it in the past. Plenty of teams do it and like I said LG exists so if this sounds like too much for you that's fine but I love playing club with my designated linemates when I am able.

Ideally, we will enter into pro series. We will try to squeak our top line into the invite division it exists and get our second line into the open division Witt the opportunity for the third line to enter as well or be standby players for team 1, but most likely for team 2. I should note that team 3 will be our test dummy. They will have all of our new players trying to move up on it. The teams will all be solid and competitive on some level.

no offense the idea is good but too big egos exist. Its too much of a buddy system and you will only get stuck with guys that dont play very well. I thought it would be to recruit good players that are not in LG and enter in PS.

No, because I play with about 3 to 4 groups of people who all play together. Plus all the individuals I like to play with. If we come together and form a big group it'll be fine and we will never need to look for players, we will always have somebody we know to put in and we will know how they play.

I don't give a fuck about an ego as long as it's good for the team.
