Playoffs time! Predictions

WOOO! We made it, thanks to all the haters for your words of encouragement

That being said just wanted to get a quick little thread going about the playoffs, so people can see the match ups and get some opinions going.

#2 Hartford Wolf Pack (Thank you! ) v #4 Portland Pirates
The strong week of 9-0-1 in week 9 behind all 3 lines rolling. Team is a serious contender for the cup and don't think the second and third lines of the Pirates will be able to come through.

#3 Bridgeport Sound Tigers v #5 Wilks Barre Penguins
Tough draw for Bridgeport in the first round with 3 pretty solid lines in WBS, led by Prowsey, Ambient and Gumba. But I think one of the leagues best lines with kirito and wojo will take care of business with the series coming down to whos third line steps it up the most. That being said I think it'll be a close series.

#1 St John's Ice Caps v #7 Syracuse Crunch
Change of events eh. Well St johns undoubtedly was the best team in the East this season behind a powerful first line and great defense. Wouldnt be surprised to see Static steal a game of 2 for the Crunch.

Faces! You did it! You made the playoffs!

#1 Grand Rapid Griffiths v #6 Lake Erie Monsters
Definitely a tough draw for the presidents trophy winners. Lake Erie has talent throughout their roster and has really come on as of late. Despite the good play, the depth on GRG is going to have this team on a bullet train to the finals.

#3 Ontario Reign v #7 Bakersfield Condors
Good series here, Bakersfield have 3 pretty solid lines (you're welcome for fly), but the top line on Ontario can't be beat by the Condors IMO.

#4 Chicago Wolves v #5 Charlotte Checkers
Trouble is a brewing in Chicago and I think their good start to the season is going to come crashing down, but not in this round. Gunwoat, stoner and the boys are going to put up a good fight and force a game 7 but the line with black-alky and kopi will put them over the top.
