As many of you know now, Bryan, aka cabat31b, passed away recently. I first got to know cabat in season 2 with the Sharks. He lit a fire for the baby sharks late in the season and I observed his attitude in the team forums. I really liked his attitude and decided to draft him. To say that he was a great teammate is an understatement. He was incredibly active, and would be on every night - just in case we needed a player. He, plodee and I would talk for hours on MSN throughout the season. I was shocked to hear of his passing. In all our conversations, he never mentioned his health issues. I would have to guess that LG was an escape for him, and I am filled with admiration for his positive attitude and influence on the team, even more so when I think of the obstacles he must have faced on a daily basis. As a result, leaguegaming has decided to retire the #31 for all present and future Team league players. We all feel that this is just a small token of appreciation for a player who I feel pride for having known and played with. Saluted, another Season 2 shark prepared a banner in honour of the jersey retirement.
Very well said. Rest in peace Bryan. This is a small tribute to a great person and you will be missed but never forgotten here.
Here is a youtube video of him playing ball hockey. I remember that fish he caught at 0:24 lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWziAK2RyBs
A great guy, and it's sad to lose someone such as him. I first got to know him in Worcester during season 2. He brought that if I go out there and play my ass off, it will pay off and that was something that I admired about him. It was an honor to have him in the league, but an even better honor to be able to be on the same line as Bryan. R.I.P Bryan, you'll be missed and my condolences to his family and friends.
saluted, I wanna just personally say thanks for everything you've said and done relating to Bryan so far...The video thats on youtube about him was made by me, and I cant even begin to say how honored he would feel if he saw all the nice things that people have been saying and doing for him...Alot of class here at LG.
glad to see his number retired. I didnt get to game with him and it makes me sad to think. S6 is being played for him fer sher
This is incredible. To hear someone lost their life is sad enough, but to hear someone so young. It's truely tragic. It's good to see so many friends come forward and pay respects. RIP Bryan.
Having played with the kid from 08-til he passed he was a very nice guy who never complained or bitched about anything. Need more cabats in the world. Was a good friend of ours in UHL ELITE and so on. @BS PAINTRAIN 19
