Post Bidding - Playoff Predictions

I'm going to be giving my playoff predictions for each division, as well as the two wild card teams. If you don't see your team slotted here, you'll have to and prove me wrong. I don't have the time to do a write up for every single team.



EAST METROPOLITAN

1. -

Forwards - Forward wise, this team has one of the deepest forward lineups in the league. They've got players all over the place capable of doing damage. Not very many teams are capable of rolling 3 forward lines that can beat anybody, but Fisher and company can do just that. Don't really see a weak point here, assuming they line match correctly.

Defense - Big question mark here. Outside of the big 3 of @T1 Clamps , @Bren Dotty and @Trobs , this defensive corps could make or break this team. If they can hold their own, this team has the potential to bring home the Lord at the end of the season.

Goalies - Solid 1/2 punch, assuming @Knight l91l is the starter. Played with him in the beta, and he certaintly makes them. Gally is no slouch either, but with the question marks on defense they're going to be tasked with stealing a few games.


2.

Forwards - @VVaGs82 did an inrecible job during bidding, assembling the Dream Team guys in @DxT Gerbe , @kingbrad3 and @King Marcotte13 . Combine this with the fact he was able to keep @CaLL Me Jakoo despite rumors he wanted out, he has a good chance at finally getting over the hump and into the playoffs, this time without the controversy.

Defense - Solid management group leads the way, with @RAMMER HATER and top RD @Deceasedgoblin . Getting @o WjD O and keeping @GRAZoMatic were huge as well. Remains to be seen, however, how @goonderk and @Wolfy l12l play. Im not familiar with those two.

Goalies - Could be the Achilles heel of this squad. @Larsbone x605 isn't bad, but hes had his share of games where he gets lit up. @JABB3R is another player on this team I'm unfamiliar with, but the team surrounding them is good enough to mask questionable goaltending.

3.

Forwards - I really have no idea who half these guys are @brandovedo won in bidding, but if theres one thing I've learned in my 3ish years at leaguegaming, its to never doubt brando. I have faith that, once again, he is a contender to make the Stanley Cup finals. He always seems to get the best out of his players.

Defense - @Nuge @Kopi @brandovedo @Shuck and Jive @BigintheBurgh . Enough said. This could be the best D corps in the league.

Goalies - @SteveB9211 is an asbolute stud. Not sure who @l Kodiak l is, but hes surrounded by talent so he wont be asked to stand on his head.


EAST ATLANTIC

1.

Forwards - This is another one of the teams I mentioned having forward depth that could run with any line in LG. One of the best forward groups in the LGHL, and itll get even better once Stifmeister decides its time to play on someones tag.

Defense- Huge pickups in @Watman and @CadarianTV . Nothing excites me more than seeing the fucking sleemo crusher lacing them back up. @Keith x l 2 l is a top line defenseman, and @McNasty x 97 is also very good.

Goalies - Could be the best 1/2 punch in the league. @APsychicTaco is a serial killer, but hes also one of the best goalies in LG. @x Lundqvist x would be a number 1 on most teams, but not with the man himself ahead of him. Legit chance to represent the East in the Stanley Cup Finals.

2.

Forwards - The scumbags themselves, @NYR95 and @Hxndry put together a decent forward group. They've got a stellar 1st and 2nd line, but the 3rd line remains to be seen. If that line can win games at a consistent clip, they've got a chance.

Defense -Outside of @Boany , @Kbsmith37 and @CurbStomp696969 , I don't see much here. If the other guys can step up and prove they belong, this team will make a push for the Lord.

Goalies - A little suspect. I've had very limited experience playing against both @Krazed x 93 and @NewfieMiLLeR so I could be a little off base here, but this position will make or break Tampa.

3.

Not gonna ge too in depth with Detroit. @SweeT 9 LoU 84 builds the same fucking team every season, and makes the playoffs with them. I expect this one to be no different.

WILDCARD TEAMS

1.
Forwards - First and 2nd forward lines are tops in LG. The addition of @x S m ii R k Y is huge, and will help boost an already potent offense that boasts the likes of @l JLP l , @iAMoee and @Bxited . Good job here. 3rd line is suspect.

Defense - Same story with offense. Top 2 defensive lines are tops in LG, 3rd line d pair could be a mess.

Goalies - Both @Lauxey and @Nightmare xX are solid goalies, but I don't know if either are capable of handling a #1 role. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

2.

Same story with Pittsburgh. Not going too in depth, as I don't know most players on this team. But, @STlCK is one of the best owners in LG and he's one guy I'd never doubt.










Western Conference will follow, probably some time this weekend. If you don't like it, fuck you.
